Night Sky in Rexburg

Last night Jonathan and I went out to view a meteor shower that has never been seen before. We packed our stuff and headed out into the country around 12:30 at night. I was worried that we would not be able to see anything because earlier in the day it was completely overcast. However we got lucky and there were only a few clouds in the sky.

We parked on the side of a country road and looked up at the sky. There were lots of stars out, and I thought this would be a great opportunity to practice my night photography. After fumbling in the dark to get everything set up, I was able to get some pretty neat shots. We were out there for about two hours, and we only saw one meteor. It was a huge one though! I didn't capture it on camera but it was big and orange.

Here are some of the photos I took of the stars.(click on the photo for a larger view)

Rexburg Nature Park

Hey everyone! I apologize for not posting anything in a while! School kind of took over my life for a bit. Anyway, today I got the chance to go to the nature park in Rexburg, Idaho. I got to take my siblings with me, and we had a blast! There were tons of ducks and geese, and we were able to get pretty close to them! Hope you enjoy some of the photos I took. =)

Winter Wonderland

The snow just keeps falling here in Rexburg! Today I decided to go on a bike ride to take some photos. Since my siblings didnt feel like coming with me, my mom came with instead. We had such a great time! Rexburg is truly amazing, and the snow makes everything beautiful. When I was taking some photos of the river, I heard a crack from below me, and I looked down to find myself actually standing on ice! I was standing on the river! It was quite an adventure. =)

Joseph at the Park/ Christmas Time Photos

Hey everyone! So these pictures are from two separate dates. The first few pictures are when I went to the park with Joseph a couple weeks ago. He loves posing for the camera, and had lots of different ideas for pictures! The last couple of pictures are from today. It snowed a good couple inches last night, and I went out with my siblings to take pictures and play in the now with them. Enjoy!

By the way, if didn't already know this, you can click on a picture and it will enlarge the photo so you can see it better. =)  Happy Holidays!

Exploring Rexburg

Hey there! So almost 2 weeks ago I moved to Rexburg Idaho for school and to be with my family! It has been 5 months since I have seen them, and I can not tell you how happy I am to be with them again! Rexburg is a beautiful town, and I have had lots of time to go out and explore. I will be taking many, many pictures around here in the future, but for now here are a few that I have taken. =)

My little brother Joseph is my adventure buddy. I love him. =)

Beautiful Oregon: Hillsboro Library

Well, in about 9 days I will be on my way to Idaho for school and to be with my family! It is crazy how fast time flies. I am starting to realize how excited I am, but also how much I am going to miss Oregon and its beauty. I was able to go to the Hillsboro library while it was sunny and nice out to take some pictures. =) I had such a great time.

Okay, so this one I cropped, like a lot. But I still think it looks pretty neat. =)

I had another amazing opportunity to do another Senior photo session this week! Jen is such an amazing person who loves to pose for the camera! We had lots of fun going around downtown Hillsboro, and then over to Hamby Park. Here is a little sneak preview:
